We are very appreciative of the detailed and thoughtful comments made about our submitted article. We have taken quite a while to complete the final revision. We have edited the paper now, ensuring that we address each one of the reviewer comments with care. Moreover, we have increased the number of images for improved illustration of the concepts and added several new references relating to some of the most current work in the field of spectral geometry processing from 2008.The following are detailed comments relating to all the reviewer’s comments.
