Multimodality Imaging in Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy

Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a rare inherited myocardial disease associated with ventricular arrhythmias, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death. Multimodality imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosis, risk assessment, and disease monitoring. Echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) provide essential insights into right ventricular structure and function, while advanced imaging techniques offer additional opportunities for improved evaluation. This review discusses the clinical value, strengths, limitations, and future potential of multimodality imaging approaches in ARVC management. In addition, well-developed case reports and patient education content help translate complex clinical findings into meaningful insights, improving disease awareness, early recognition, and communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
