Combination of exosome vaccines, Lenvatinib, and anti-PD-1 eradicates tumor in autochthonous hepatocellular carcinoma mice

Graphical Abstract Sample Work

This original research article explores a novel therapeutic strategy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide, where treatment options for advanced-stage disease remain limited. Recent advances in cancer immunotherapy have highlighted the potential of combination therapies to improve clinical outcomes. The study demonstrates that an exosome-based vaccine combined with lenvatinib and anti-PD-1 therapy enhances antitumor immunity, leading to complete tumor eradication in autochthonous HCC mouse models. The findings suggest a promising personalized immunotherapy approach that strengthens dendritic cell activation, promotes robust T-cell responses, and offers a potential breakthrough for HCC treatment.
