Autoimmune nodopathy with anti-NF186 antibodies following SARS-CoV-2 infection: A case report

Simplified Abstract Sample Work

SARS-CoV-2 infection has been associated with various autoimmune neurological disorders. Autoimmune nodopathies, involving antibodies against neurofascin-186 (NF186), are rare conditions. These antibodies impair nodal integrity, resulting in peripheral nerve dysfunction. Reports of anti-NF186 antibody–associated neuropathy after COVID-19 infection is extremely uncommon. We present a case highlighting the post-infectious autoimmune mechanism and clinical outcome.
