Neuromodulation Interventions in Clinical and Health Psychology

Authors Guide:

We include narrative, in-depth, and systematic reviews, meta-analyses, original publications, and study protocols. Studies employing brain stimulation techniques, including transcranial electric stimulation, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and convulsive treatments in neuropsychiatric clinical samples and healthy volunteers, are invited. Submission:

All submissions judged acceptable for peer review will be assessed by at least two independent reviewers. Your article will go into production as soon as the editorial board has approved it.

Neuromodulation interventions:

Neuromodulation interventions, such as transcranial electric stimulation and transcranial magnetic, have several submissions in experimental clinical psychopathology: they can be used as investigative tools (to modulate neuronal circuitry to modify cognition and behavior causally) or therapeutic interventions (as an add-on or augmentative approaches to standard therapies). In this context, there is a significant deal of interest in employing neuromodulation in a variety of domains, including clinical and cognitive neurosciences, translational research, and psychiatry and neurology. This special issue brings together world-renowned experts from several fields to share reducing research on influencing behavior with brain stimulation.
