The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (JCEM) is a top-tier, peer-reviewed publication that publishes highly credible pieces of research in the fields of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. It represents research from the entire translational spectrum starting with basic science through to clinical trial evidence (experiential). Each volume contains qualitative assessment of existing knowledge surrounding the etiopathophysiology of endocrine and metabolic disease; diagnostic testing; and treatment modalities. In addition to original research articles, JCEM publishes occasional commentaries; perspectives from experts; and reports of the results of clinical trials that are varied from traditional reporting forms (prismatic); short literature summaries from various fields in medicine; and all clinical practice guidelines. Additionally, JCEM publishes a broad array of research that examines the underlying mechanisms of the metabolic and endocrine processes in other areas of human disease (e.g., cardiovascular disease, cancer, aging).

JCEM does not consider:

  • Manuscripts outside the scope of clinical endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism
  • Studies limited to animal or pre-clinical data without clear clinical translation
  • Isolated association studies lacking demonstrable impact or validation of experimental findings within the same manuscript
  • Mendelian randomization studies without a clear mechanistic foundation or those not fully compliant with the STROBE-MR reporting checklist
  • Research relying primarily on self-reported patient data without robust clinical validation

Submitting your research to the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism demands scientific precision, methodological rigor, and strong clinical relevance. Our Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism manuscript editing services ensure your study is thoroughly refined, clearly structured, and aligned with the journal’s scope and standards. With comprehensive endocrinology journal submission support, we help authors strengthen translational impact, clinical applicability, and reporting compliance. Our specialized diabetes and metabolism publication support enhances clarity in discussions of pathophysiology, diagnosis, and therapeutic strategies, while our focused translational endocrine research manuscript support positions your findings for maximum scholarly visibility.
