JASP framework

JASP, Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (https://jasp-stats.org/), version 0.12.2, is an open-source, free statistical software program that runs on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. It was created by a group of quantitative methodologists interested in enhancing statistical testing and analysis methods used in the area of psychology. It employs a wide range of analytic approaches, notably those used in Bayesian analysis and data science. T-tests, ANOVA, regression analysis, factor analysis, machine learning, meta-analysis, network analysis, and SEM, are among the approaches used. A data editor is also included in JASP for visual examination and pre-processing. It offers data import and export from and to a variety of data sources.

JASP is built on the statistical analysis program R, but for users who are unfamiliar with programming, JASP has a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to pick analytic modules and alter parameters easily. JASP provides functions for showing analytic findings in tables and figures according to American Psychological Association (APA) standards and exposes choices for customization after they are prepared to assist users in academics, particularly those in psychology.
